The 11th annual Art Waikino exhibition and art competition will be filling the historic Victoria Hall this Labour Weekend from Saturday through to Monday.
Local and not so local artists are invited to enter their work into the painting, craft, photography and mosaic sections. Categories this year include painting, craft, photography and a special mosaics category.
Entry to the exhibiton is a gold coin donation and all art will be for sale, so it's a great opportunity to discover original New Zealand art for your wall.
All proceeds from Art Waikino go towards the upkeep of the historic Victoria Hall.
Don't forget that there's a 'Meet The Judges' wine and cheese evening for artists on Friday the 21st
