Girl Guides Glittering Hollywood Ball

Lights, camera, action! Let's get a little bit Hollywood.
That's the call from the Waihi Girl Guides as they get ready to host their "Hollywood Ball" fundraiser.
Kids between the ages of 9 and 14 are invited to dust off their Hollywood star and head to the Waihi Memorial Hall for a night of music and entertainment.
The supervised ball will be the first event in the annual Goldfest celebrations programme.
It promises to be a glittering night of entertainment for the tweens.They get the chance to dress as their favourite star for the night and enjoy the limelight.
Food is included in the ticket price and there will drinks available to purchase on the night along with Glow products.
There'll be spot prizes, lucky draws and a Hollywood King and Queen will be crowned on the night.
Tickets will be available from BNZ branches in Waihi, Paeroa and Katikati for $10 each, with all the funds raised from the ball going towards the Girl Guides Jamboree next year.
