The streets of Waihi will be gleaming with more than gold when the hot rods and classic cars from all over New Zealand rock into town.

Dress up in theme because there are prizes awarded for the best dressed male and female.

The shops will be offering Beach Hop specials so bring your wallet too and grab some bargains.

The Gold FM Drag Race will be back again and there are a few surprises planned this year.

The bands in the main street will spice up the atmosphere so come to Waihi for the day and be ready to 'rock n roll'.

It’s a celebration of the rock n roll culture with classic cars, hot rods, music, fashion, the Gold FM drag race, hot hop specials in the shops and good times from the golden era.
