Waihi Surf Life Saving Club 'Polar Plunge'

It's chill out time! Time to don your craziest outfit and join all the warm hearted people who are supporting a 'cool' cause. The Polar Plunge Challenge fundraiser is on Sunday the 7th of August.

There'll be prizes for the oldest, the youngest, the wackiest and the skimpiest dressed. Brave brass monkeys will be making a mad dash for the surf from 10.30 am outside the Waihi Surf Life Saving Club on the Esplanade at Waihi Beach. register from 10 am at the club, it's only $2 to join in and all the proceeds raised go towards the club.

Don't want to get wet??? Become a 'Too Chicken To Take The Plunge Supporter'. All you have to do is come down to the beach, join in the fun and make a donation.

And ... the kind ladies from the Waihi BNZ are going to be serving delicious hot soup and toast.
