During Goldfest why not get your family and your mates together and head out to Dickey's Flat at the Karangahake Gorge for the Xterra Trail Challenge Waihi on Saturday the 8th of October?
What a way to see the Karangahake Gorge!
There are five event options and the Xterra Trail Challenge is open to all ages, abilities and levels of keeness.
You can run or walk 7.3 km, 13 km, 19 km, or do the Marathon 42.2 km run.
But wait there's more ... For the ultra keen there's the Ultra 60 km run.
The Xterra Trail Challenge is BIG on fun and whether you walk or run short or long distance, there's something for everyone.
