The Waihi Agricultural & Pastoral Association Show will be back for the 73rd time on Saturday the 12th and Sunday the 13th of November. It's all about showcasing animals, sports and recreation associated with agriculture and animal husbandry.
The show takes place at the Showgrounds on Parry Palm Ave, and there will be plenty of action over the two days.
Secretary Marilyn Parker is busy getting the schedule ready and says it will be posted out at the end of September.
It's always a great family day, with everything from Arabian and side saddle horse riding and show jumping to Kaimanawa horses, Alpacas, ponies, goats and dairy and highland cattle. The pet lamb, kid goat and calf club sections are always a highlight, with some very proud owners grooming and presenting their pets.
There'll be plenty of food, refreshments and entertainment.
