Blue Light says 'Show Us Your Cash'

The Waihi Police Blue Light team are holding a "Show Us Your Cash' fund raising quiz night on Friday the 26th of August. Blue Light aims are to reduce young people becoming an offender or victim of crime and to build better relations between the police, young people, their parents and the community. Blue Light encourages healthy and safe socialisation for young people and organise events for youth in our area.
The 'Show Us Your Cash' Quiz Night promises to be a great night's entertainment. Police Youth Officer Sterling Huett will be the 'Quiz Master' on the night. The idea is that a group form a team and test their general knowledge. Friends or work colleagues are encouraged to get a team together and register. The maximum number of people per team is 10, and the cost for a team is $100.This is a great way for adults and parents to support the Blue Light initiatives in and around Waihi.
Doors open at the Waihi Memorial Hall on Seddon St at 5.30 for pre drinks and nibbles.The quiz gets underway at 6.30 pm, a licensed bar will whet the whistle and the appetite for competitors with supper included in the registration price.
