Council Matters With HDC Mayor John Tregidga

Hauraki District Mayor John Tregidga phoned into the Gold FM studios this morning to let us know what's been happening with Council. He was having a hearty old fashioned breakfast with the HDC 'outdoor' workers to thank them for their efforts during the year and enjoy some Christmas cheer with them.

He talked about the Christmas lights in Waihi, the Kopu Bridge opening, the Gold Discovery Centre and progress with the groups who have been sharing opinions and ideas with the Council regarding Newmont Waihi Gold's expansion plans.
