A little birdy has been chirping to us that it's all on between the Waihi Police Bluelight and the Waihi Volunteer Fire Service for the Go Waihi Trolley Derby on Saturday the 8th of October.
There's likely to be some fierce competition which means it's going to be fun to see. There's sure to be a few laughs along the way as boys will be boys and when the Firemen get 'hot under the collar' about something, anything can happen.
Make sure you get a good vantage point so that you can catch all the action down Haszard Street next Saturday.
There'll be bargains in the shops and stalls, with music to brighten the atmosphere in Waihi town and local entertainers as well.
The trolley derby is one of the events during Goldfest which is a great way for the locals to celebrate their town and show visitors what a great place Waihi is to live, work, play and visit.
