Scammers Pretending To Be SPCA

Gold FM was contacted today by the Waihi SPCA and the Waihi Police to ask Waihi people to be aware that scammers are pretending to be from the SPCA and selling raffle tickets around town.

If you are approached by someone saying they're from the SPCA and they're fund raising by selling raffles, don't buy one from them, report their description and whereabouts to the Police.

The SPCA are definitely not selling raffles at the moment.
