In their current update Newmont asks 'what has mining done for our town and district'?
How much of the town's economy relies on the mine for employment? What groups benefit from the mine's operation?
Why should people who don't work for the mine be interested about whether Newmon't activities continue?
What facilities has the mine helped fund?
They background the recent telephone poll conducted by an independent research company and detail their new opening hours for their Golden Link Information Office on Seddon Street next to the Waihi Memorial Hall.
The office is a point of contact for anyone wanting to know more about the Golden Link proposal.
