An unexpected twist in the plot…for new Paeroa Library

Posted 17 March 2017 by Gold FM in Council Matters

Due to a number of factors, including last week’s weather bomb, the old Paeroa library will now close its doors on Saturday 22 April instead of Saturday 18 March as previously advertised. This means the old library will be open for business as usual for the next five weeks.

“We apologise for any inconvenience or confusion these changes may have caused, and look forward to seeing you in our brand new library in May,” said Mayor Tregidga.

To facilitate the move, there will be a short delay between the closure of the old library and the opening of the new library but it’s expected people will be browsing the new bookshelves from 1 May, with a Grand Opening planned for 3pm on Friday 5 May.
