Clarence Clemons Dies

Legendary saxophonist, Clarence Clemons who played with Bruce Springsteen's E-Street Band, died last Saturday at the age of 69 after suffering complications from a major stroke he suffered days earlier.

Tributes have been flooding in from musicians around the world with Bruce Springsteen's statement reading "Clarence lived a wonderful life.He carried within him a love of people that made them love him. He created a wondrous and extended family. He loved the saxophone, loved our fans and gave everything he had every night he stepped on stage. His loss is immeasurable and we are honored and thankful to have known him and had the opportunity to stand beside him for nearly 40 years."

Affectionately know as 'The Big Man' Clarence Clemons had an imposing stage presence standing 6 feet 5 inches and appeared in films and TV shows.
