The web is buzzing with news that Coldplay have just released a new single 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall'.

The digital version is available online now.

Brian Eno produced the record said to be inspired by the 1970's New York graffiti art culture.

There's also an Aussie connection with Australian singer Peter Allen's 'I Go To Rio' being sampled in the track.

And this time Coldplay have credited Peter Allen in the credits. Probably a good idea after the lawsuit hero guitarist Joe Satriani brought against the band in 2008 for allegedly plagerizing his 2004 'If I Could Fly 'in their 'Viva La Vida' single which hit the charts in 2008. The case was settled behing closed doors.

Take a listen to the new track here and let us know if "Every Teardrop" makes you weep with joy or cry in pain.
