Kimbra Wins Songwriters Award

New Zealand singer songwriter Kimbra (Kimbra Johnson) has won the 2011 Vanda and Young Songwriting Competition beating over 4000 entries from talented songwriters around the World.

The song she entered was Cameo Lover from her forthcoming album 'Vows' which is due to be released next month.

18 judges from the music industry gave Kimbra the nod and she graciously accepted the award saying it was awesome to be recognised so early on in her music career.
