Seeing Double - Mariah Carey gives birth to twins on 3rd wedding anniversary

Mariah Carey has had a memorable third wedding anniversary to husband Nick Cannon by giving birth to twins - a boy and a girl on Saturday at a hospital in Los Angeles.

A spokesperson said the baby girl was born first, weighing 2.35 kilograms, and was 45.7 centimetres tall; her brother was next, at 2.44kg and 48.3cm.

Carey and Cannon, who is also an actor, comedian and rapper, were yet to name the children.
