Third time lucky for Sir Paul McCartney

Sir Paul Mccartney is set to walk down the aisle for the third time. The Beatles singer songwriter announced his engagement to his girlfriend, heiress Nancy Shevell, a New York businesswoman whom he met in 2007.

The wedding will be Sir Paul's third and Nancy’s second marriage. He was married to Linda McCartney, who died of breast cancer in 1998. He then married Heather Mills in 2002 but ended up in the divorce courts with a messy battle after four years of marriage.Friends are saying this marriage will be a success because Nancy is a wealthy woman in her own right and isn't dazzled by his fame.
