Fresh from her golden performance and wins at the Grammy's recently, Adele wasn't exactly glowing after her acceptance speech at the Brit Awards was cut short by the presenter.
When she asked if she could please continue with her 'thankyous' the presenter told her she needed to vacate the stage for a live act to perform, so she gave the organisers a bit more than a thumbs down. She brandished a perfectly manicured middle finger on live television to show her displeasure to the organisers.
The 23 year old said afterwards that the finger was aimed directly at "'the suits' that offended me" and explained that she didn't want her fans to think she was swearing at them with her gesture.
ITV, who were broadcasting the show issued a statement apologising to Adele for giving her the boot saying, "we regret this happened and we send the deepest apologies to Adele that her big moment was cut short tonight due to the live show over-running."
Adele took out Album of the Year and Best British Female Solo Artist to add to her six Grammy Awards.
And we bet she's getting a huge salute from other artists who've been treated in a similar way. We salute you Adele. You go girl!
