Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody

Written by Freddie Mercury for Queen's 1975 album 'A Night at the Opera'. Bohemian Rhapsody was a ground breaking song which was a huge commercial success for the band. It topped the UK singles chart for nine weeks and sold over a million copies by the end of January 1976. It hit the number one spot again on the UK charts and stayed there for five weeks after Freddie Mercury died.

It made number one in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and the Netherlands but only reached number nine on the US charts in 1976.

After the release of the movie 'Wayne's World' in 1992 it rocketed to number 2 on the US charts.
