Brian Gentil spoke to Colleen Low to get an update about the Waihi Beach Art & Craft Fair.
After coming up with the idea of running a craft fair 15 years ago Colleen and her friend Trish have been kept really busy dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s to make sure visitors and stall holders to the fair enjoy their day out at the Waihi Beach Community Centre on Queen’s Birthday Sunday.
Colleen described what some of the new stallholders will be offering this year and talked about the good old fashioned food available through the catering efforts of the Waihi Beach RSA ladies.
The Waihi Scouts do their bit too by helping out with unpacking and repacking tables and chairs on the day, so it’s a real community affair. Rain or shine, the Waihi Beach Art & Craft Fair is a great family activity on Queen’s Birthday Sunday.
Doors open at 10 am.
