The Chiefs travelled to Buenos Aires only to lose to the Jaguares 21 – 16, ending their super rugby season and taking the Jaguares through to the last four.
The Hurricanes battled it out at home in Wellington against the Bulls, coming out winners after a hard fought game, 35 – 28.
And the Brumbies were too strong at home against their South African opponents, beating the Sharks convincingly 38 – 13.
