There will be some cold heads, hopefully rugged up against today’s bitter wind, after a show of bravery at Waihi College last night.
Students raised just under $4,500 for the NZ Leukaemia & Blood Foundation by undergoing the Shave for a Cure initiation at the college hall last night. Principal Alistair Cochrane donated his head again this year too.
Daring to take it all off or give it the chop and donate a ponytail to Freedom Wigs for patients is a brave thing to do.
Big UPS to everyone involved for the generosity!
