It’s been a busy week for Thames Valley Rugby Football Union Rugby Development Officer Marcus Howie who reported in from his office after driving back early Friday from Auckland, where he attended the New Zealand Rugby awards last night.

Marcus and Brian Gentil ran through the winners on the night, including Ardie Savea who won the Supreme Award of New Zealand Player of the Year, together with the All Blacks Player of the Year award and also Super Rugby Player of the Year.

The black ferns, Crusaders, Scott Robertson, Charmaine McMenamin and Tyla Nathan-Wong all received well deserved awards and Steve Tew was recognized for his service to rugby, as he vacates the New Zealand Rugby CEO’s job.
