The Waikino Ceilidh is on February 15

Ceilidh (kay-lee) - noun A social event with Scottish or Irish folk music and singing, traditional dancing, and storytelling.

Everyone is invited to ‘get jiggy with it’ and head to Victoria Hall, Waikino on February the 15th for the annual Waikino Summer Ceilidh Barn Dance fundraiser.

Money raised goes to the upkeep of the historic hall.

You don’t need to know the dances because the caller will explain the easy to learn dances as you go.

Nibbles and cool water will be provided, or bring your own refreshments.

The Waikino Ceilidh is a family friendly night of fun and dancing to highly regarded Scots based duo, ‘Saltire’, a star act at the Paeroa Highland Tattoo this year.

Absolutely no talent or experience is necessary, you can come on your own, with your family or mates.

Entry is $20.
