Brian Habberfield, one of the organisers of the annual Waikino Ceilidh had a chat with Brian Gentil about the local knees up happening at the historic Victoria Hall on Saturday, 15 February.
Brian Habberfield explained how easy it is to join in the fun of a ceilidh or traditional dance that is family friendly and suitable for anyone to take part.Kilted duo Saltire, all the way from Scotland, will be providing the professional live music and traditional stories will be shared too. “You’ll have more fun than you ever expected,” Brian said.
Entry is $20 which provides all the fun you never expected, plenty of cool water and you are welcome to take along your own refreshments.
The entry fee goes to the all important maintenance of Waikino’s important community asset.Everyone from far and near is welcome!
