Marcus Howie, the Thames Valley Rugby Football Union Rugby Development Officer, joined Brian Gentil in the Breakfast Show and reminded us of the Under 16 and Under 18 Argentinian teams that will be playing Thames Valley invitational sides this Sunday in Waitakaruru.
Then it was on to Round 4 of the Super Rugby with some good wins for the New Zealand sides, and one not so good result for Chiefs fans.
The Crusaders comfortably beat the Highlanders 33 – 13, while the Chiefs lost 26 – 14 at home against the Brumbies.
The Hurricanes had a bye and the Blues were in South Africa where they beat the Bulls 23 – 21 with a conversion at the final whistle.Marcus and Brian covered all the other games as well, and then looked at the Six Nations competition where France beat Wales for the first time in about ten years 27 – 23, and England had a good win against Ireland 24 – 12.
In the other game Scotland won 17 – 0 over Italy. To hear the full rugby report … click on our podcast link.
