Ride the slippery slopes on Waihi Scouts Mud Slide Day March 7

Scout Leader Paul Boggiss called into Gold FM to talk about the dirty business of slipping and sliding down hills, splashing into muddy pools, navigating muddy channels and having a whole lot of fun on Saturday March 7.

The Waihi Scouts Mud Slide Day is something the whole family can indulge in.
The gates open at 9:30 and the mudlarking goes through until 3pm.
$5 per person gets you a pass down the slippery slopes.Spectators get to take in the dirty business for a gold coin donation.
There will be plenty of free off road parking, just follow the signs to the registration tent on site.
There will be 3 slides, a mud obstacle course, rope bridge and plenty of other fun activities for all the family.
Washing and changing facilities are also provided.Scouts recommend taking sun block, a warm jacket, old shoes (very important) and a change of clothes.
