Lucy James and Jaun Fisher called in to get a bit dramatic with Brian Gentil.
Plays Unplugged is a series Waihi Drama Society has created to keep their Boyd Road Theatre busy and interesting for their community.
Involvement is important to the Waihi Drama Society and this Saturday an hour long play is treading the boards at the Boyd Road Theatre.
Why not do something different on your Saturday afternoon and experience your local theatre. “Come along and have some fun,” Lucy said.
The play gets underway at 4 pm with a koha entry. An Open Day on Sunday March 22nd for everyone to get up close and personal with the Boyd Road Theatre is coming soon too.
The Open Day will showcase all the different aspects that come together to present a production in a theatre.
From props and makeup to sound and lighting, Lucy says, “If you can move and breathe, come and see us.”
