She bubbles over with enthusiasm and positivity and she’s a great advocate for the Waihi Drama Society.
Lucy James called in to the Gold FM studio to talk with Brian Gentil about the Open Day everybody is invited to at the Boyd Road Theatre, Waihi from 2 - 4 pm on Sunday July the 19th.
Lucy said they are really excited, up and running and looking forward to welcoming people behind the scenes at Waihi Drama Society.
“It’s all about what you’re comfortable with and what you want to do,” Lucy said.
You can play with the lights, the sound effects get dressed up in costume, inspect the scenes and lots more.
“If you can walk and talk, you can come along and play,” Lucy said.
Being backstage is just as important as being onstage.
The Waihi Drama Society Open Day will provide lots of fun for the whole family and is something a little different to do for a few hours on a Sunday afternoon.
It’s free to go to the Open Day but if you take along a can of food it will be donated to a local food bank.
Sausages will be sizzling for a koha donation too!
