Penny from the Waihi Herb Society called in to the Gold FM studios to have a catch up with Brian Gentil about the exciting changes proposed for the Waihi Herb Society as it evolves.
“We want to revamp and re-brand”, Penny said.
COVID-19 brought with it a series of new challenges and brought the realisation that there is plenty of knowledge out there worth sharing.
Looking back at how things used to be done and reducing the need to spend a lot of money on things you can do yourself is a sustainable way forward.
Anyone interested in learning or sharing skills for self sufficiency is welcome along to the Waihi Herb Society AGM and meeting this Sunday.
A bay leaf tea tasting is happening along with a herbal lozenge making demonstration and afternoon tea.Everyone is welcome to the Salvation Army Hall on Seddon Street at 2 pm this Sunday.
