Waihi Beach Art & Craft Fair happens this Sunday at Waihi Beach Community Centre
Brian Gentil caught up with Colleen Lowe to find out how the Waihi Beach Art n Craft Fair is shaping up for its 17th year.
It’s hard to believe an idea spouted all those years ago is still being fruit.
The Waihi Beach Community Centre is the place to be when doors open at 10 this Sunday morning.
Colleen told Brian about the new stalls and artists to look forward to this year.
Arts and crafts people are coming from all over the countryside to bring their hand made and recycled goods.
The Waihi Beach Community Centre will be jam packed Colleen said.
Although quite a number of the stalls have their own eftpos there is no guarantee eftpos will be available throughout the fair so it pays to take some cash.
Entry is just $4 and there will be plenty of good old fashioned food and drinks available.
Brian and Colleen gave a big thumbs up to the friendly volunteers who help to make it all happen.
