Easter welcome for the long weekend
Good weather and a happy alignment of public holidays will make for a larger than usual number of visitors to the Coromandel this year says local MP Scott Simpson.
Easter is traditionally a big weekend around the region but this year we have Easter followed by ANZAC day which means that many people are taking a few days leave to get an extended 10 day stay on the Coromandel.
“I welcome all our visitors and hope they have a wonderful time here.
“Take care on our roads, slow down and enjoy the journey.”
“Be careful in the bush, be safety conscious in and on the water.”
“But most of all make the most of everything the beautiful Coromandel has to offer.”
