Posted 4 May 2018 by Gold FM in Music, Entertainment, Events and Podcasts

What do you get if you mix pristine Coromandel Harbour waters, mussel and oyster farms, fresh fish, local chefs, and hospitality?
The Coromandel Town Seafood fest of course!

Fine weather, fine food and a fine time is forecast for tomorrow, Saturday May 6 at Coromandel Area School on Woollams Road.

Just $2 gets you in to taste test to your heart's content.

Coromandel Area School gets the gate fee as a fundraiser, and you get delicious fresh kaimoana, live demonstrations of oyster shucking, fish filleting, cooking and more. You'll also get to check out the stalls, rides for the kids, the finish line for the Great Kauri Run and more.

There are plenty of tasty options available including smoked bacon, and even a piece of fresh battered fish can be found. After satisfying your hunger kick back and enjoy the live music from various local artists. If you are looking for a bit more then take the challenge and ride the Motion Master Thrill ride.
