Kids turning trash into fashion for GoldFest show
A fashion show with a difference is happening outside the Waihi Memorial Hall in Seddon Street this Saturday.
Kids have been invited to have some fun and create outfits from things that are usually thrown away.
Dawn Freestone came up with the idea and has worked with about 30 children, encouraging them to have a go and show the public what they can do.
The parade gets underway at 10.15 am. Brian Gentil spoke to Dawn about the show.
